A Few Things Worth Mentioning

I know I only usually post once a day, but I have a few things I want to mention before the day is over and I post my next piece for tomorrow.
Great Giveaway!
My friend Halley is having an awesome book giveaway on her site! Hurry over and check it out, otherwise I win! Click here.
I have been patiently watching my follower gadget go up this week!! Almost to 100!! I reached 99 this afternoon, then sadly I checked back tonight and I had lost one. *cry*sob*throw a tantrum*click here to see how I feel about losing friends* It's all good though... I would rather have my followers be real followers, not just joining to join. Know what I mean?
I want all my commentors and followers to know that I try my best to come check out your blogs too. Sometimes life happens and I only have a little time on my hands, but I will come. AND I will comment. I believe truly and deeply that one turn always deserves another, and I also think it is very important to support each other in the blogging world. There are too many meanies out there who want to pull us down and make us feel bad about ourselves. You are all wonderful people, and you like to laugh... so we are instant friends! Let's make this whole experience a positive one, and stick together!
Coming soon is Daddy Saturday, don't forget to stop by and check it out. Ben LOVES to get comments more than I do... he sits around on Saturday and acts like it isn't a big deal, but he's a liar. He hovers around the computer and checks the blog for new comments every 5 minutes... well, maybe I am exaggerating a bit. But he does go to work, shoulders slumped when he only gets a few comments. Then he calls me every break for an update. I guess it isn't just women who need positive feedback.
If you are new to my blog, check out some of our past Daddy Saturdays.
I just want to thank everyone who has giving me the "One Lovely Blog Award." It sure means a lot to me!
And lastly I just want to give everyone a big apology. Sorry I haven't been my funny self this week. I honestly have been one stressed out mama and have the zits to prove it! With the school year coming to an end and summer classes starting, Ben trying to get a new job, and Nephi saying potty words... well, it sucks the life out of me. So hopefully, I will get my energy, and my funniness back pretty soon. But until then, love me anyway :)

Thanks for stopping by!I will be back again. Now I must pack for Vegas. Ahh. I love when my daughter uses potty words. Especially loud and in public. Makes a mommy proud!

I knew the zits on my face were from something. Stress is something I know all too well. Good luck with classes and your husband finding a new job! Thank you for visiting my blog!

aha, we have more things in common than one would think--John is looking for a new job and Dominic uses potty words all the time, not to mention the little kids I watch can't say Dominic so whenever they try to say his name it sounds like they are saying potty words.

I love your blog, and I love Ben's posts too, I have thought about commenting on his posts but then figured he was so good that he didn't need my pat on the back to know it, so I will apologize about not telling him how great I think his posts are.

Keep up the good work

Ok, but what kind of potty words. Can't be as bad as the one my 6 year old dropped yesterday. What the heck!!!

Cute blog, I love your personality and take on life. As a mom of 3, I feel I can really relate. I like the "pretend" advice column. Tell that first pretend wife who wants to spend more time with her DH, that she is lucky he is focusing on his education now. My DH has finally gone back to school to finish his degree now that we have 3 kids! I hardly see him at all and I usually have to put the kids to bed by myself before he comes home. To have time by myself without a DH and kids would be a dream!
