Announcing Our First Ever Give-Away!!

Father's Day! I know, I know what you are thinking! What?! Hello! Mother's Day comes first! True true. But I wanted to try something a little different from the other blogs. I chose to do Father's Day first, and it will all make sense when you know what I am giving away! And don't worry, I am going to be doing a Mother's Day one too.
Okay, for your man, or your father, I am giving away a ONE YEAR SUBSCRIPTION to ONE of the following:

OR

I got my husband a subscription to Popular Science for his birthday, and he LOVED it!! He said it was the best gift ever! So I thought, I think I will treat one of my readers' hubby's to the same for Father's Day.
Okay, here's what you do to enter. You can do as many of the following as you wish, and each one you do leave me a separate comment and your name will be entered each time. You may be in the drawing up to 3 times. Here's what you can do:
1. Become a follower of this blog. If you already ARE a follower, just leave a comment saying, "I'm already a follower! You're the best blogger ever!"
2. Follow me on Twitter. Make sure you leave a separate comment saying you are following me on it.
3. For this last one, tell us one thing that your husband (or father) does that drives you crazy -- but makes you love them all that much more! (Again, make a separate comment for this as well)
*For those of you who are new to give-aways, if you do all three of these things you will have posted 3 different comments. It gives you a greater chance of winning!
This contest will last for 1 week, ending and announcing the winner next Tuesday (April 28th). So spread the word!
To Men who want to enter: Yes, you can enter this contest! For number 3, just tell us why you are or will be the greatest dad!
***
One last note: Make sure I have a way of contacting you if you choose not to be a follower -- because you still might be a winner!
***
Disclaimer: Popular Mechanics and Popular Science have nothing to do with sponsoring this give-away. I am the sole sponsor, and the gift subscription will be an investment in my blog, thus coming out of my own pocket.
NEW: It was suggested to me that I should let you have an extra entry if you post this link on your blog -- that's totally reasonable! So if you do that, just post another comment letting me know.

What drives me crazy about my man is that he throws away everything! I love that he likes to clean up and help keep the clutter down but he has thrown away important things like play tickets!
His sister said he has always been like that and once after Brandon "cleaned" she found all her curent classes' text books in the garbage.

yay! I get three changes to win now! Thanks for doing this give away it's fun!

What drives me crazy about Mr. Daddy is how he claims he hates being on the phone (we are doing long distance for the next couple months) so he gets off after a quick hello and how are you.... But if he has something to talk/vent about, he will go on and on for hours. Grrr!

My hubby leaves a little pile on the floor at the end of the bed. Even if I clean it up, it's back by the days end. Gotta love him!!

I just found your blog today and became a follower here and on twitter. I love your blog by the way!
What drives me crazy about my husband is how loud he gets when he is explaining something, or talking about something. He gets REALLY loud, but it's cute. He's the best, and such a good daddy to our little girl.

What my husband does that drives me crazy: The second he walks in the house, he turns on the computer to check his e-mail/comment board/car listings/whatever. Someday, I'm going to throw our computer out the window! BUT I'm glad that he's technologically savvy.

If I win, you can contact me through my blog, http://www.shanalyris.blogspot.com/. Thanks!

P.S. My sister, Damaris, posted your blog information on her blog, which is how I found you. Maybe she should have another entry :)

It drives me crazy that my husband loves to de-junk. I know, I should be glad he's not a major pack rat. He is kind of that for some stuff, but for the most part, he loves to de-junk. Spring cleaning -not windows- is his favorite thing. He loves to just start reorganizing the utility cupboard or the medicine cupboard to make it more "stream lined."

I realize you're all saying.... "What!!? I would love for my husband to take initiative and do this!"

The thing that is bothersome is that he decides to do this at the most inopportune time possible. I'll be cleaning the house from top to bottom -doing my jobs- and he will want to clean out some drawer or cupboard right that minute... not later... right now. I'm all for it, except for the fact that if I am not right there through the whole thing, he will throw stuff away that shouldn't be. Or he may not realize that certain things need to be on lower shelves as opposed to the upper shelf.

It's a nit picky thing. But that's about all I can think of. I love this man! He's the best.

My husband thinks pancakes are as great of a meal as stake and potatoes. This is great because he's not picky about the food I make, but not so great when I make a delicious meal and I get the same "that was so good!" as I would if I had just made pancakes or served cold cereal for dinner(0:

You have the best blog ever. I will be a great dad because I was a great big brother to my brothers who were 11 and 17 years younger than I and after learning what tod and what not to do I have honed my skills to be the best father ever. -Jason Millett Ben's friend

Erick would love this! I have to try.

The thing that drives me crazy and make me love him even more is the fact that he cannot sit still for longer than 10 minutes. When we rent a movie for a quiet night at home, after the movie gets exciting, he stands up and begins cleaning, or looking for something else to do while still watching the movie. He is a great multi-tasker! There is no relaxing unless he is asleep. :)
